NEW! Emotional Awareness and Regulation
An 8-week group focused on how to handle your emotions
Led by Tim Burkholder, this is an 8-week group focused on recognizing the 8 core emotions and learning what to do with them. If you struggle to connect with your emotions or have difficulty knowing what to do with them, this group could be an excellent opportunity to grow deeper in emotional awareness and regulation.
In this group, we will dive deeper into how we can better recognize what we are feeling and then learning some skills and tools for appropriate responses to those emotions. We will discuss the role and function of emotion, address coping strategies, as well as process some stories about feelings. Our goal is to help you better notice what you are feeling, learn how to name what that feeling is, and then know how to navigate through that experience.
