Chelsea often reflects on the words of Carl Jung: “Loneliness does not come from having no one around you, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to you.” Loneliness is about carrying words you cannot say and truths you do not feel safe to share. Healing begins by gently giving voice to what matters most, so you are no longer alone with it. Counseling becomes the space where those unspoken stories are welcomed, where vulnerability is met with care, and where being seen and known feels possible.
Chelsea is EMDR-trained and enjoys working with adolescents and adults, those struggling with relational distress, loss, spirituality, trauma, anxiety, depression and grief. She uses a blend of theories, from attachment theory to emotionally focused therapy to somatic therapy and internal family systems.
Chelsea is a lover of the physical world and a learner of life. She has a stack of counseling books she’s constantly reading. In her off time, you will find her playing with her two young kids, enjoying iced vanilla lattes with her hubby, finding treasures at thrift stores, rewatching The Office or enjoying the outdoors with friends.
