Now Accepting New Clients!
Have you struggled with behaviors or relationship patterns that leave you feeling ashamed or regretful? Maybe you act out in ways that conflict with your values, or your relationships leave you unsatisfied but you’re not sure why. Or could it be that you care well for others, but struggle to care for yourself? These patterns can be confusing and painful. Parker specializes in helping clients identify the emotions and needs underneath these patterns, so they can learn to approach life differently. He believes that with a little effort and the right support, healing is available to any who desire it.
Relationships are usually where we’ve been hurt the most, but they also provide the hope of healing. The counseling relationship with Parker is built on trust and becomes a sort of “intimacy practice” where you can learn to identify feelings and needs, and then risk sharing about them, first in the counseling room and then in your other relationships. He tailors this process to meet your goals.
Parker received my MA from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and his BA in Creative Writing: Fiction from Northwestern University. He is fascinated with people and with the world around him. Parker loves good conversation, playing music, pick-up sports or board games with friends, wrestling his kids, or reading out loud with his beautiful wife.
