She provides a warm, down-to-earth, and goal-oriented environment where clients can safely explore life’s challenges and create lasting change.
Rachel came to the counseling field by way of journalism. During Rachel’s television reporting and anchoring experiences post-hurricanes or covering traumatic events, her desire to serve and bring healing was continuously reaffirmed. After six years in the industry, Rachel pursued a career pivot and obtained her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is now a Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Grief Therapist, and Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern.
Rachel specializes in women-related grief experiences. She is passionate about supporting women through difficult seasons and relationships, as well as postpartum depression, perinatal grief and loss, and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).
Teens & Young Adults
Rachel is honored to build a strong alliance with teens and college students who feel overwhelmed about the future, are struggling in relationships, or are navigating difficult transitions. Her focus with this population is on creating a trust, equipping with coping strategies, and implementing evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT in sessions depending on the needs of the client.
